Sevenoaks ,Kent ,England . They were established in1883 and joined theKent League in2003 . For the 2008-09 season, they are members of theKent League Premier Division.History
Sevenoaks F.C. was originally formed in 1883 and was amongst the founder members of the original Kent League, although they left the league after just one season. It is known that on 26th April 1893 they played Royal Arsenal, who were at the time the only professional team in the South of England, with over 1,000 spectators watching the game.
In 1906 the club, now known as Sevenoaks Town, became one of the founder members of the Sevenoaks League. In 1951 Town amalgamated with another local club, St. John’s United, and became members of the Kent Amateur League (Western Region), which they won on two occasions. In 1984 the Kent Amateur League was re-organised as the
Kent County League , and Sevenoaks were the first Premier Division champions, a feat they repeated in seasons 1995/1996 and 2002/2003.In 2003 the club stepped up to the Kent League, where, despite the step up to a significantly higher standard of football, they finished a commendable 11th in their first two seasons.
Ground
Since their step up from County League status, Town have made considerable improvements to their ground at Greatness Park, including installing their first changing rooms and floodlights, along with a tea bar and later a main clubhouse bar, which is regularly hired out for functions, providing an extra income stream for the club.
Juniors
Sevenoaks merged with Seal Juniors at the end of the 06/07 season. They have teams ranging from Under 7s to U16s. The oldest age groups have the opportunity to join Sevenoaks' Youth Team. Most teams play in the Crowborough and District Junior Football League, however a few play in the Tandridge League and the Kent Youth League. The youth teams play at a variety of grounds around the Sevenoaks area. The junior club have had many success stories, such as the U16s winning the A league and many 7-a-side tournament victories.
