Grey Blackwell

Grey Blackwell is an American artist who has worked in newspaper illustration and web animation. He received the National Cartoonist Society Newspaper Illustration Award in 1998 for his work. Since September 2005, he has produced a series of animated film shorts for the web site of The News & Observer, a newspaper in Raleigh, NC. He has also produced animated cartoons on a freelance basis for Rivals.com and ESPN.com. In December 2005, he produced a three-minute animated short for the first annual "Southern Sports Awards," a TV show which aired on Fox Sports Network.
