Prosper Fernando

Prosper Fernando was an announcer of longstanding with Radio Ceylon - the oldest radio station in South Asia. Prosper Fernando presented some of the most popular radio programs over the airwaves of Radio Ceylon such as "Housewives Choice" and "Holiday Choice". Thousands tuned in to the programs on the island.

Prosper Fernando was also a news reader - he read the English news bulletins of Radio Ceylon. He joined a band of radio announcers who enjoyed immense popularity in South Asia - millions of listeners in South Asia tuned into hear announcers like Prosper Fernando.
