Slovenia that began broadcasting onDecember 15 ,1995 . The station is known for broadcasting American TV series, such as Lost,Desperate Housewives ,Prison Break , , , , Monk,Without a Trace ,Ugly Betty , House M.D.,Cold Case ,Boston Legal as well asHollywood feature films. It's also known by Slovene TV seriesNaša mala klinika ,TV Dober dan ,Pod eno streho ,Trafika , andBalkan Inc. , which is also produced byCroats , Serbians andBosniaks .Domestic programming includes
24 ur (main evening news),24 ur popoldne (afternoon news),24 ur zvečer (late news),Trenja (multi-guest talkshow) andPreverjeno (general interest informational pieces). POP TV was supported from its outset by
Central European Media Enterprises (CME), aBermuda -based company specialising in Central and EasternEurope an television broadcasting.In
2005 , the broadcaster's parent company CME announced that POP TV was the most-watched television service inSlovenia with a 27% all-day audience share. This compares with an 9% share for theKanal A operation, rated as Slovenia's fourth-place broadcaster. In2004 , the stations had 28% and 8% rating shares respectively.Awards and recognition
