Tangible investment

Tangible investment

In contrast to stocks, bonds, and real estate (see equity investment), tangible investments are objects; there is a wide variety, including:

* Art
* Precious metals and gems
* Collectibles, such as:
** Postage stamps (see stamp collecting, philatelic investment)
** Coins (see coin collecting)
** Autographs and historic documents
** Memorabilia, such as political, military, and sports memorabilia
** Trading cards
** Jewelry and timepieces
** Fine wines
** Antique or classic cars
** Rare books
** Comic books
