Cristina Odone

Cristina Patricia Odone is a journalist, editor, and writer living in the United Kingdom. She has written for several newspapers, and was formerly the editor of The Catholic Herald, and deputy editor of the New Statesman.

Career

Odone edited The Catholic Herald from 1991-1995.[1] She resigned as editor in 1996 in order to finish her second novel, A Perfect Wife.[2] In 1996, she became the television critic for The Daily Telegraph, a position she held for two years.[3] For six years Odone was a weekly columnist for The Observer, and she was deputy editor of The New Statesman between 1998 and 2004.[1] Since 2010, she has blogged for the The Daily Telegraph.[4]

Odone has had four novels published: The Shrine (1996),[5] A Perfect Wife (1997),[6] The Dilemmas of Harriet Carew (2008),[7] and The Good Divorce Guide (2009).[8] She contributed to Why I am still a Catholic (2005).[9]
