Firestorm is a science fiction novel by David Sherman and Dan Cragg. It is set in the 25th Century in Sherman and Cragg's StarFist Saga."Firestorm more concludes the Ravenette campaign for the 34th fist and the Force Recon (Introduced in Backshot, and expands in Recoil, two books of a three book sub series). The three books (Flashfire,Recoil, Firestorm) converge for one of the most exciting campaigns in the Starfist universe, overshadowed only by the looming alien threat encountered earlier in the series. Strong character development and dialogue, small unit leadership and tactics, outstanding background, all come to bear in the latest installment. The series is another great in Military Sci-Fi genre (set in motion by Heinleins, Starship Troopers and "The Forever War) and works from time to time to bring the story along, in an extraordinary and engrossing fashion."
