Geokinetics, Inc. (GOK) provides three-dimensional (3-D) seismic acquisition and seismic data processing services to the land-based oil and gas industry in the United States. It provides land-based and transition zone seismic acquisition services on a contract basis for its clients. The company acquires data by conducting shooting operations and records the acoustical signal reflected from subsurface strata. It provides seismic data processing services to clients involved in both on-shore and off-shore operations on a worldwide basis. The company processes land and marine seismic data and provides a suite of seismic interpretation products and services utilizing linux clusters.
