World-Tel Limited

Worldtel Limited was established in 1994 as part of an ITU initiative to help mobilize development of the telecommunications sector in developing countries.The primary catalyst for its creation was a McKinsey & Co. report recommending creation of a separate company for this purpose.The current CEO of this firm is Sam Pitroda, who made his mark as a pioneer of telecom revolution in India.
