Designated agent

Title II of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of the United States, known as the Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act (OCILLA), creates the potential role of designated agent for any ISP (Internet service provider) who files a designated agent registration with the United States Copyright Office in Washington D.C.
