Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway

The Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway (京滬高速鐵路) is one of China's plans for high-speed trains. Construction started on April 18, 2008. Its top speed is expected to be convert|350|km/h|abbr=on, cutting Beijing to Shanghai travel time from 10 hours to 5 hours.
