Saulius Mikoliūnas (born May 2 1984) is a Lithuanian professional footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Hearts. He stands 1.78 m tall and weighs 72 kg. "Miko" as he is referred to by fans is a right-sided midfielder who sometimes plays on the left side of midfield.

Mikoliūnas, who is a Lithuanian international, has previously played for FBK Kaunas and represented Lithuania at under-21 level. There was some doubt about him staying at Hearts towards the end of 2005 but that uncertainty was resolved in January 2006 when he signed on loan from FBK Kaunas. Mikoliunas courted major controversy on March 2 2005, during a match at Tynecastle, where Hearts took on Rangers. Deep into injury-time, assistant referee Andy Davis called over referee Hugh Dallas. Dallas then sent off Rangers striker Dado Prso after an incident in the box before awarding Rangers a penalty kick after a foul by Lee Miller on Sotirios Kyrgiakos. After the awarding of the spot-kick, Mikoliunas ran over to Davis and barged him off the field. Dallas immediately brandished the red card, before showing it again after Mikoliunas hurled abuse at the official. Since that incident, Miko has been sent off twice more against Rangers, both as a second half substitute.

Miko is a regular in the first team for Hearts. He is capable of some breathtaking skill on his day, however his inconsistency has always dogged his Hearts career. Although he silenced many with the winner at Tynecastle vs city rivals Hibernian on Boxing Day 2006. Mikoliunas' wife is due to to give birth in early May.
