Ice hockey

* January 17–21 - Kenora Thistles defeat the Montreal Wanderers 2 games to 0 in a Stanley Cup challenge to win the Stanley Cup. Kenora would be the smallest town to ever win the Stanley Cup.
* March 9 - The Wanderers win the Eastern Canada Amateur Hockey Association (ECAHA) title and challenge Kenora to a rematch.
* March 16-18 - The Thistles defeat Brandon, Manitoba to win the Manitoba title and defend the Stanley Cup. As the ECAHA season was over, the Thistles added Alf Smith and Rat Westwick from the Ottawa Hockey Club.
* March 23–25 - The Wanderers regain the Cup by defeating the Thistles 2 games to 0 in a rematch. The Thistles continued to use the Ottawa players and caused a protest to the Stanley Cup trustees, but the Wanderers won the series anyway.
