Llynclys

Llynclys

Llynclys is a village in Shropshire, England. It lies north of Pant on the crossroads of the A483 and B4396.

The Cambrian Railways Trust are re-building the railway line here, which will become a heritage railway. Llynclys South railway station is in operation, whilst the original Llynclys station remains disused (for now).

Llynclys consists of Brynmelyn which is where the Cambrian Railways Trust are re-building the railway line. It also consists of Dolgolch, which is next to Porth-y-waen. Llynclys Common has a beautiful view where you can see the Welsh and English countryside in all of its glory.

Llynclys in Welsh means Land Of Water and there is a Llynclys Pool, owned by the farmer who owns Llynclys Hall Farm.
