"The Impossibility of Reason" is the second studio album by Chimaira, released on May 13, 2003.

A limited edition version was released in 2004, which included a bonus disc called "Reasoning the Impossible". The song "Army of Me" appeared on the soundtrack to Freddy vs. Jason.
