Keyworth is a village and civil parish in Nottinghamshire, England. It is located about 10 km southeast of the centre of Nottingham, to which it is linked by a frequent bus service. At the time of the 2001 census the civil parish had a population of 6,920. Facilities in the village include a range of churches, schools and shops. There are also playing fields, which offer outdoor sports facilities and a leisure centre with a swimming pool. Keyworth is also home to the headquarters of the British Geological Survey which is located on Nicker Hill on the North-East side of the village.

The Church of St. Mary Magdalene dates from the 14th and 15th centuries and is Grade I listed. [cite web |url=http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/search/details.aspx?pid=1&id=431130 |title=Church of St. Mary Magdalene |accessdate=2007-04-15 |work=Images of England |publisher=English Heritage ] Other listed buildings in the village include two grade II listed barns and three cottages on Main Street.

The playing fields behind the Church are on the site of an ancient medieval ridge and furrow system. This sometimes makes running a rather precarious business for the outfielders of Keyworth Cricket Club who play their home matches on this field. In the season 2006 Keyworth Cricket Club players created league records for the most runs in a season and the most centuries in a season. It was the most successful season in the history of the club, which dates back to 1814.

Keyworth is twinned with the French village of Feignies.
