Ian Pattison

Ian Pattison

Ian Pattison is a Scottish writer who lives in Glasgow. His main success in writing has seen the birth of Rab C Nesbitt, for which Ian has written 8 television series. He has written a novel about the fictional Mr. Nesbitt's life: "A Stranger Here Myself". He also wrote the 1995 to 1996 sitcom "Atletico Partick"; the six-episode series "Breeze Block" [ [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0328735/ Breeze Block on IMDB] ] starring "Tim Healy" which aired on BBC Three in 2002, and he created and co-wrote the sitcom "The Crouches", which aired on BBC One from 2003 to 2004.

Ian's other novel, "Sweet and Tender Hooligan", does not feature Rab C Nesbitt.
