- Sara Diamond (academic)

Sara Diamond is the current president of OCAD University. She was born in New York City and emigrated to Toronto in 1959, in order for her father to become the Executive Director of the Jewish Family and Child Service and for her mother to take a professorship at the University of Toronto.[1] Diamond has a degree in digital media theory and a PhD from London University in computer science.[1] Prior to joining OCAD, Diamond was the Director of Research for the Banff Centre.[2] Diamond taught at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design.[3]
