P. M. Aboobacker

P. M. Abubacker (Poovanitheruvath Maliyekal Abubacker) was one of the Muslim political leaders of Kerala, India. Previously a renowned journalist with the Chandrika newspaper in Calicut. His political career in civil service extended almost four decades. P. M. ABUBACKER; Son of V. C. Mohammed Koya; born on 1 July 1932; Wife: M. P. Zainabi; four Sons namely, P. M. Mohammed Iqbal, P. M. Mohammed Firoz, P. M. Mohammed Afsal and Muzzammil P. M. one Daughter: Shamshad Banu P. M. He was a part of Thekkepuram community in Calicut. P.M. Aboobacker died on 17th October 1994.
