Nonari

Nonari

The Nonari are a Jat clan found in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[1]

They are one of a number of nomadic pastoral nomads found in the Neeli Bar region. During the 19th Century, they were forcibly settled by British authorities, and are now a community of settled farmers. The Nonari of Sahiwal District now speak Punjabi, while those found in Bhakkar, Layyah and Multan districts speak Seraiki.[2]
