Nitrous Oxide (born Krzysztof Prętkiewicz in 1984 in Poznań, Poland) is a Polish trance producer and DJ who is signed to the UK label Anjunabeats. He has also produced under the aliases N20 and Redmoon, and also produces alongside fellow Polish producer Kamil Bigaj in the duo 3rd Moon.

From the 1990s, Krzysztof Prętkiewicz's music was influenced by Jean-Michel Jarre, Mike Oldfield and the Depeche Mode. He started his own artistic activity in 2001, now focusing mainly on uplifting trance.

In 2006 he released his first track with Kamil Bigaj as 3rd Moon - "Diving In the Sky". It was released on the Dutch Somatic Sense sub-label Profuse. That year was a breakthrough for him, because soon afterwards the well known Anjunabeats label released two songs of his, "North Pole" and "Frozen Dreams" as an EP.

Prętkiewicz has also collaborated with the Polish duo Sound Players (Artur Szewczyk & Maciej Czubak) with whom he has created a project called Silver Mist. Their debut single, "Silver Rain", was released in 2007 on Wildchild Records.

Prętkiewicz's first artist album, Dreamcatcher, was released on April 5, 2010 on Anjunabeats.[1]

His productions are regularly played by DJs such as Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond.
