Born in Sardinia, Italy, Nicola is a musically gifted, self taught, singer and performer.  At just 30, he is a sensation in his homeland of Italy because of his years of public performances. A Nicola Congiu concert is guaranteed SRO across Italy.  He also built his reputation by participating in national singing competitions, such as "Sanremo" and "Castrocaro."  His fame also brought national TV shows, where a Nicola Congiu appearance attracts larger viewing audiences.[1]

Niko (Nicola) performs in front of giant audiences and screaming, devoted fans alike. His fame has developed through tours with his orchestra, as well as through his appearances on national television and on many special musical shows.

Nicola "Niko" Congiu has a three octave vocal range. As a result, he is able to perform current pop, rock and soul, opera, and classical music. Niko composes many of his own songs, and sings both in English and Italian. He is a man of many talents, and he will soon be performing across the U.S. in a series of concerts and events.

A fan of great singers, Niko especially likes the styles of Freddie Mercury and Andrea Bocelli. He, and they, are larger than life performers, who command a stage, electrifying their audiences.  He is a fan of female greats, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera.  A personal goal is to one day share stages with these great women performers.

In 1997, Nicola formed his own nine piece orchestra and toured extensively throughout northern Italy.  His most recent CD, "Per Te" (2008) comprises original tracks and cover songs made famous by other artists. To further enhance both his entrepreneurial and musical talents, Nicola plays guitar and piano on the songs as well!

This multi-talented man, whose charismatic performances and dynamic "Italian" good looks, caught the eye of award-winning director/producer Steve Binder in October, 2007.  Binder, who directed and produced "Elvis' '68 Comeback Special", "Diana Ross in Central Park", and "The T.A.M.I. Show"  (a feature film), amongst many others, was so impressed with the talented Italian that he signed Niko to a personal management contract with his music management company.

Visiting the U.S. for the first time in February, 2008, Nicola continued to impress the top echelon of executives and agents, and is now represented by Live Nation and Signatures. One of the most prominent music attourneys, John Branca (who represents Andrea Bocelli) saw Niko perform, and immediately signed him for legal representation. Niko is also represented by Liz Dalling at Special Artists Agency for commercial representation. Barry Garber, President of IMC, also consults with Steve Binder on international bookings. In 2008 and 2009, he has performed at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops, opened for Celine Dion and Jewel and toured with Chicago and the Doobie Bros.
