New York Production Services

New York Production Services is a production company that was founded in 1999 by John Grossman.[1] They produce commercials, television shows, feature films, and HD productions. NYPS recently started a new television and film division and has several feature films and TV productions in development. They received a Telly Award in 2006 for a commercial Drums for Breyers Light. New York Production Services' biggest client is Macys.

History

Founded in 1999 by Executive Producer John Grossman, NYPS began as a commercial production service company for ad agency creatives and fashion photographers. NYPS later grew to service the independent film industry as well as several television networks. Today NYPS is noted for its work on global campaigns for top fashion, beauty, retail, travel, and luxury lifestyle brands.[1]

NYPS works with directors such as Billy Kent, Carl Byrd, Ian Gelfand, Laurie Castelli, Paul Fuentes, and Sako Brockmann, as well as Directors of Photography Tim Maurice-Jones, Steven Chivers, and Malcolm Mclean.

John Grossman

John Grossman has worked in the advertising and film industries for over 20 years on numerous feature films, commercials, documentaries, and television productions.[1] In 1998, he started The Firm, a fashion and beauty production company.[2] Later on, John joined forces with agency executive Neal Werner to create TheFirm Creative Group, which was an in-house adgency and production company.[3] TheFirm Creative Group finally evolved into New York Production Services.[4] Since then, John has completed over 300 commercials and continues to develop feature length films, and television series.[1]
