[1]Robert Christgau (B) [2] Neither One of Us is an album recorded by Gladys Knight & the Pips, released in early 1973 (see 1973 in music) by Motown Records on the Soul Records label.
The album would be the group's last release while still signed to Motown. They would soon join Buddah Records. Three subsequent Motown albums of unreleased material would come out after their departure.
The album includes one of Knight & the Pips' most successful singles, the #2 Pop/#1 R&B hit "Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)", along with the #19 pop/#2 R&B "Daddy Could Swear, I Declare"
