Necrosis next to bands like Rust, Pentagram, Warpath, Massacre and Back, was the most successful and best-known time abroad.

The demo "Kingdom of Hate" had a big impact in Chile and rave reviews in international journals such as the famous Morbid Magazine in those years, where the band is among the top 25 demos the world in 1987, ranking No. 19. Necrosis performed several gigs in the country and sold 1500 copies of the demo tape, unprecedented for the time (especially for a band considered "extreme."

In early 1988, Andres Marchant travels to Brazil on vacation and brings some copies of the demo "Kingdom Of Hate". In Brazil, a country considered a big market for underground metalhead global movement, the seal Heavy Metal Maniac Records (now Hellion Records) is interested in recording an LP of necrosis, which would be recorded in Chile and produced in Brazil.

In March 1988 the contract was signed to record the first full-length album from a band Chilean thrash abroad. This was recorded in July 1988 resulting in the album format Search vinyl Lp. 3500 were distributed copies of the album in Brazil and Chile.

To support the launch of The Search, Heavy Metal Maniac Records and producer Monica Moses Dell in February 1989 organized a big concert in São Paulo, at a place called Projeto Leste, with capacity for 5000 people. That night Necrosis was the star of a show that also featured local bands MX, Korzus and Ratos of PORA. A few days before the event declines stellar group of that show, Kreator. Necrosis was asked to close the show.

Necrosis returned to Chile in March 1989 with 1000 copies of the album The Search, which sold rapidly, continuing local concerts with average attendance of 2000 "thrashers."

The band remained active some time but studies of some members and others would eventually work to separate them. Andy Westphal Nacrur and Rodrigo left the band to pursue other projects. In 1990 he made a final concert at the House Constitution, where it gets a break from career Necrosis in an indeterminate way.

The formation of necrosis at the time was:

  • Marcelo Ulloa: Drum
  • Nathaniel Infante: Guitar
  • Pepe Nacrur: Guitar
  • Miguel Angel Montenegro: Bass
  • Andrew Marchant: Vocals
  • In 1997 the Toxic Records label released the album The Search in CD format, which was distributed by EMI Odeon Chile.

Meeting and return to the Scene of Thrash Metal

After some years of silence Necrosis returns. In 1999 Andy, who took a while to "Massakre" decides to resurrect the band and only one of the original formation accompanying Nathaniel Infante on guitar. New musicians gather together to project strongly in the local metal scene. Gustavo Robles on vocals, formerly of Enigma, Victor Trujillo, former Añasco OrateGod and Caesar were to summon reinforcements around 1000 in a popular disco thrashers of the capital. This would start the second stage of the training band with a somewhat renewed.

Necrosis members then were:

  • Andy Nacrur: Drums
  • Nathaniel Infante: Guitar
  • Gustavo Robles: Vocals
  • Cesar Añasco: Guitar
  • Victor Trujillo: Bass

After a few concerts in Victor decides to leave the province to integrate Tottem band Corpse, Death Metal group from the capital. It was then replaced by an acquaintance of those years Onetto Rodrigo (Ex Chaos Execrator, Undercroft). "Mota" as they say, would be the new bassist. Besides training starts recording the new songs that would necrosis as a result the album Enslaved To The Machine, which would be put up for sale and shown live to the public in December 2001.

After major concerts with Massakre, sadism, torture or the meeting of Pentagram, necrosis occurs in La Serena in January 2002 where shortly after the concert, Caesar stands back and lets a hard place occupied by the large number of changes was. After some changes in the band, guitarist stable at that time was Daniel Duarte, a former Tornado and Belial.

For reasons of work and great opportunities to further his career abroad, Mota (Rodrigo Onetto), leaves to pursue Necrosis Undercroft. The former bassist Victor Mota replace Trujillo at the concerts to come. Necrosis After opening act is presented in a show alongside the Germans Kreator and Destruction, where over 1500 thrashers crowd the Teatro Providencia. Then the band has a second pause at the beginning of 2003.

After some years of silence, is reunited Necrosis retaking the test in June 2006, and reinstating one of its older members, Rodrigo Westphal on bass.

Training for the time:

  • Gustavo Robles: Vocals
  • Nathaniel Infante: Guitar
  • Cesar Añasco: Guitar
  • Rodrigo Westphal: Bass
  • Andy Nacrur: Drum

After the band opened a show for Testament in 2007 would come some very difficult problems to carry and a little silence would come.

Andy, the band leader decides that Añasco Nathaniel Infante and Caesar should leave the band due to musical differences have also radical and a constant brake on all the ambitious projects of the band. A promising live album was rejected by Nathaniel and Caesar, leaving the band without projects.

Continuing with the hard work of finding musicians and continue to lead the Chilean thrash scene, the band recruited a second time to Daniel Duarte with an unknown guitarist, Roberto Villaroel. Unfortunately the job did not work with them and had to be replaced by Gerardo Salas (former Sepsis, and Atomic Noise Machine Necrodead) and Lorie Martin (Deimos), which gave a touch of modernity and aggression that the band needed.

The band in November 2009 has released its third album, Reborn (album necrosis), with which they have planned a trip "tour" to promote it announced on their MySpace). In 2010 opened the show as a band of support for Megadeth in Santiago, with great public approval.
