Natalia Skobeeva

Natalia Skobeeva, born in Russia in 1975, is a London based artist and photographer graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Natalia's work tackles the themes of identity and belonging. She explores the psychology of perception and identifying, and pathways of forming unique or anodyne seeing. Her experimentation within the medium are challenging the boundaries of photography.[citation needed]

Natalia exhibits both in the UK and internationally.

Her latest solo shows include Viewfinder Gallery, Gallery32, Rathbone Gallery and The Place in London. Her works have been featured in Time Out 1, The Daily Telegraph 2, British Journal of Photography, AG, Hotshoe, Amelia's, Anglomania, F Stop magazine and many others.

Natalia expands her practice in the direction of life performance and installation. Her latest project "Memento Mori" takes place on seven London's bridges and aims to challenge current social values, by reminding us of the fragility and timescale of human life.
