Natacha Merritt

Natacha Merritt (born 1977) is an American erotic photographer and artist. Her 2000 book Digital Diaries was published by Taschen.^[1] Merritt has been called a cheap self-promoter,^[1] a ground-breaker,^[2] and the contemporary counterpart of Anaïs Nin.^[3] She cataloged her sexual history on the internet through explicit photographs and drew the attention of photographer Eric Kroll, leading to the release of her photos as Digital Diaries.^[4]

Merritt was a guest speaker at the Ars Electronica Festival in Austria^[1] and in Melbourne at the AGIdeas 2002 conference.^[4]In 2008 she sold the rights for a Insect Circus to Cirque du Soleil. The show became Ovo (currently touring).

Projection Designer

In 2003 Natacha Merritt worked as part of the creative team as projection designer for Cirque du Soleil’s erotic show Zumanity (currently at the NYNY Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas). ^[7]
