Nathan Douglas Silcock (born 27 November 1927 in Widnes, Lancashire, died 27 July 1992 in Penketh, Cheshire) was an English professional rugby league footballer. A Great Britain international representative representative Second-row, He stood around 6 ft 1’. Silcock played well over 100 matches for the St Helens club and almost as many for the Warrington Wolves before moving to Australia.

Nat D Silcock born Widnes 1927, son of the Widnes legend Nat Silcock, Snr. Signed for Wigan in 1946 and played there for 9 years before being transferred to St Helens in 1955 where he stayed till 1958 when he was transferred to Warrington. Played on a number of cup winning sides for Wigan and St Helens and was also on the 1954 G.B touring side.

In 1961 he moved into a player coaching position for Newcastle Souths taking them to their divisional final after a season and a half in charge going on to win in the following year . He then moved to Sydney to coach Eastern Suburbs for only one season.

Nat Silcock also represented Great Britain while at Wigan between 1952 and 1956 against France (1 non-Test match).[1]

In 2010 Nat Silcock Jr was named in South Newcastle Rugby League Club's team of the century ( all time ) in the second row position .
