Cubs High School was the vision of one Mr. Bheemaiah Jagini. Together with Mr. Amarender Rao, Mr. Ram Mohan Rao & Mr. Venkat Narayana Goud this vision has become a reality in 1985, which later has been changed to The Nalgonda Public School in 1985 run by Dynamic Educational Society since then.
The school is an English medium co-educational. Affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi, Nalgonda Public School believes that a sound & basic education is the very essence of a Childs’ personality. Hence emphasis is made on natural learning methods without any fear or fear based motivation there by creating a free atmosphere for the children to observe, explore, analyse, discover and assimilate knowledge on their own.It has U shape building.
The school mandates the study of Telugu from Class 1 as a 2nd language. In Class 9, students have the option of studying either Telugu or Hindi as their 2nd language. The School follows NCERT curiculam.
Morning Assembly Morning Assembly includes School Prayer, Pledge and Vande Mataram followed by News Headlines and Enrichment program.
Nalgonda Public School fosters competition & team spirit among the students by conducting various competitions in Academics, Sports & Co-curricular activities. For this purpose the school is divided into 4 Houses viz. Red,Yellow,Blue and Green. Each House is under the charge of a House Master/ Teacher, a House Captain. They coordinate maintaining Discipline, conducting Competitions, etc. Above all they endeavor to take the school to greater heights by giving it a competitive edge. In the 2nd month of the acadamic year(usually in july), students are placed into one of the four houses:
- Red
- Yellow
- Blue
- Green
At the end of the academic year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup.
