Mr. President (1974 Dickie Goodman single)

Mr. President (1974 Dickie Goodman single)

Mr. President is a novelty single by Dickie Goodman released on Rainy Wednesday Records in 1974.

This record is Goodman's second attempt to satirize the Watergate scandal. However, the single wasn't as successful as his previous one, Watergrate, charting at #73.

This is NOT the same recording as the "Mr. President" Goodman released in 1981. The B-side is an instrumental called "Popularity". The song is also on the flip of another break-in by Super Stu & The Disco Turkeys called "The Great Debate", where the song was called "Lovely Lady".
