Mount Elder

Mount Elder (61°13′S 55°12′W / 61.217°S 55.2°W / -61.217; -55.2) is a mountain between Endurance Glacier and Mount Pendragon in Elephant Island, South Shetland Islands. Named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) for Captain John P. Elder, RE, surveyor of the U.K. joint Services Expedition to Elephant Island, 1970-71.
