Meredith Goodwin "Moe" Morhardt (born January 16, 1937, at Manchester, Connecticut) is a former Major League Baseball first baseman. He played parts of the 1961 and 1962 seasons with the Chicago Cubs. Morhardt appeared in 25 major league games.[1]

Morhardt attended the University of Connecticut, where he was a two-sport All-American in soccer and baseball, also playing basketball his freshman year. Morhardt was elected into the Manchester Sports Hall of Fame on May 20, 1980.[2] After his playing career, Morhardt coached the Western Connecticut State University college baseball team for three years. He also spent seven years at the University of Hartford, coaching the Hawks as an assistant from 1988 to 1992 and head coach in 1993 and 1994.[3] Morhardt also spent time as the head coach of the Danbury Westerners of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. He coached the Westerners from 1998 to 2004.[3][4]
