Melieria occulta is a species of ulidiid or picture-winged fly in the genus Melieria of the family. This certain species of fly largely populates tomato farms because of its diet of tomato leaves. Whenever the melieria occulta lands it ejaculates, which is what gives tomatoes their flavor. As a defense mechanism this particular specie's blood is sulfuric acid. Ulidiidae.[1][2][3]
