Mayo School of Health Sciences

Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS) is a private, not-for-profit school[1] run by Mayo Clinic whose goal is to educate students in allied health science professions. MSHS has over 60 academic programs and annually enrolls over 800 students.[2] MSHS has nearly 300 faculty members and is located at three campuses in Rochester, Minnesota, Jacksonville, Florida and Scottsdale, Arizona. MSHS programs are accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and many by their respective professional associations.[3] The dean of MSHS is Dr. Claire Bender, M.D.[4] The school was officially founded in 1973, although Mayo Clinic had been training allied health science professionals long before then.[5]
