Matt Carmichael is a sports journalist for the Seven Network in Sydney.
After completing a Bachelor of Journalism at the University of Technology in Queensland, he worked with the News-Mail in Bundaberg, before joining Seven regional affiliate Seven Queensland and then Seven News Brisbane.
He has previously been a fill-in presenter for Pat Welsh and Ben Davis on Seven News Brisbane.
Carmichael is now based in Sydney working for Seven News Sydney as its full-time weekend sports presenter he replaced Johanna Griggs.
