Sharjah FC . From the start the clubs were seen as representatives of the two Major supported teams in the Emirate of Sharjah.As the two biggest, and most successful clubs in Sharjah Emirate, the rivalry is renewed on an almost annual basis. The flashpoint of this rivalry are the twice-a-season Derby of the smiling Emirate which draw vast audiences from around the U.A.E.
Sharjah FC has the upper hand in the history of matches between the two teams. from the beginning of the league to 1985, Al-Shaab never won against Sharjah FC. however, and since 1998 Al Shaab Club has been competing head to head against Sharjah FC.
