[1] [2] [3] Grand Master Dr.Yuree, popularly known as [4]“The Thunder-Shin Man” is the current [5][6] WORLD RECORD HOLDER (as per The World Records Authority)which he performed in presence of live audience at Martial Arts Show, NEC, Birmingham, England on 23 May 2010. He is amongst the only few in the world to be recognized with the premier awards by the 6 major hall of fame authorities from USA, UK, Europe, Asia. He is the founder of Butthan Martial Art [7] and the [8][9][10] Combat Self Defense System (CSD).
He has been awarded "Grand Master of the Year" title from the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame (WMAHOF) in 2007, [11]"World leader in Combat Martial Arts" title by The International Combat Martial Arts Union Association (ICMAUA) in 2006,[12]"Grand Master of the Year" from World Black Belt Hall of Fame in 2007, "Grand Master of the Year" by Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2006, "Grandmaster of the Year" by the London Int’l Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2009,[13]”Grandmasters Pinnacle Award” by World Head of Families Sokeship Council (WHFSC) in 2009.
[14][15] Grand Master Dr. Yuree has carried out extensive research and development on the essence of Vajramusti (ancient most Indian boxing), Varma-Kalai, Sialambam, Kalaripayte, Bando, Banshy, Chuan Fa, Tibetan Kempo, Min Zin (psychophysical & spiritual defensive system), Latthi Khela, Pranayam (Breath Control) etc for about two decades. Grand Master Dr. Yuree is on of the few in his generation to have studied in depth the most deadliest ancient Indian art of pressure point combat known as Varma Kalai or Marma Adi, under the Gurukul of Great Assan Vaskaran. Varma Kalai is now only practiced by select few for preservation of the this ancient art.
