"Mainstreet" is the title of a song written and recorded by Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band. The eponymous street is that of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Seger's childhood home.[1] It was released in April 1977 as the fourth single from the album Night Moves The song peaked at #24 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 but reached number-one in Canada.[2]

It is in the key of D major,[3] though some may consider it D Mixolydian.
