Central Street

The Downer Rowhouses are two sets of Second Empire row houses that are back to back at 55 Adams Street and 192-200 Central Street, Somerville, Massachusetts. They have patterned slate roofs, carved stone lintels, and bracketed door hoods. They both are five unit buildings, tall and narrow, with full-height polygonal bays and a projecting cornice.[2]

They were separately listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 18, 1989 as Downer Rowhouses (Central Street) and Downer Rowhouses (Adams Street), references numbers 89001241 and 89001225.
