The show concentrated on Michael Larson (Frank Converse), who moved with his a son David (Trey Ames) and daughter Katie (Karron Graves) to Australia to research dolphins. Essentially, Larson was supposed to be scouting for a new start after his wife died, but his son dislikes the Aussie life and new school. Katie hadn't spoken since the death of her mother, and hated her new therapist, but her outlook on everything changed when she realized that she could communicate and speak to the dolphins.
