Debbie Shapiro Gravitte (born September 29, 1954) is an American actress and singer.

Shapiro was born in Los Angeles, California, and went on to make her Broadway debut in the chorus of They're Playing Our Song in 1979. Additional Broadway credits include Blues in the Night, Zorba, Les Misérables, Chicago, and Jerome Robbins' Broadway, for which she won the Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. She was nominated for the Drama Desk Award for Jerome Robbins' Broadway and the Frank Loesser revue Perfectly Frank. Her sole screen credit to date is the 2000 Jacqueline Susann biopic Isn't She Great, in which she portrayed singer Eydie Gormé. Her solo album Part of Your World celebrates the songs of Alan Menken, and she is featured on the recording Unsung Sondheim.

Family

She is married to actor/singer Beau Gravitte; the couple has three children.
