Danyang barley porridge

Danyang barley porridge (Chinese: 丹阳大麦粥; pinyin: Dānyángdàmàizhōu) is a special local product of the city Danyang, Jiangsu Province, China. From the angle of health preservation in Chinese medicine, barley porridge has two efficacies: strengthening the spleen and stomach and relieving heat and sunstroke.

Raw materials: 50 grams pearl barley, appropriate amount dietary alkali

Construction: 1) Adding water to the pearl barley, then mix it to pasty. 2) Cooking it till the seven mature, then putting the paste of barley powder into the boiling porridge and mixing well. 3) Adding appropriate dietary alkali. 4) Boiling With small fire slowly.[1] [2] [3] [4]
