DJ Wich

Tomáš Pechlák aka DJ Wich is one of the most popular and successful DJs from CZ/SK hip hop scene. He started with DJing in the year 1998.

History

In 1993 DJ Wich met Indy and LA4 on a graffiti scene. In 1998 they formed a group Indy & Wich,[1] where Indy performed as a rapper and DJ Wich as producer. They often co-work with the rapper LA4 who often appears in their live performances.

In 2002 their debut album My3 came out which is still very successful till this very day. Their second album Hádej kdo… was nominated on Anděl in 2006. The following year they produced yet another album called The Chronicles of Nomad with a rapper Nironic.

In 2008 DJ Wich released his first solo album The Golden Touch where you can hear international stars like Lil Wayne, Talib Kweli, M.O.P, Kurupt and more.

Wich is becoming more and more desirable for his unique beats with quality and miscellaneousness. He is collaborating with a lot of Czech and international artist. From the Czech scene these include Orion, Hugo Toxxx, W518, LA4 and from the international Rasco, Rytmus, H16, Vec, and Nironic.

Wich sometimes prepares live shows straight from the studio (DJ Wich Live TV) where you can see a lot of famous rappers, live track recording, interviews and if you have any question you can ask Wich in chat.

DJ Wich made soundtracks for a famous Czech movie called Gympl and also Ulovit miliardáře which was released on the 1 st October 2008 with Tomáš Vorel as a director.
