The Final
The match was played on Republicii Stadium (which was demolished by Ceauşescu to make room for Palace of the Parliament). Dinamo attacked furiously in the first half hour and they missed a lot of chances when Metalul Reşiţa's striker Ştefan Szeleş scored twice ('30, '40), finalizing two fast counterattacks. Dinamo hardly tried to get back into the match but simply wasn't meant to happen, Metalul's players holding their ground and marching to a legendary victory.
