History

Founded on 16 January, 1982, Contrive Group comprises more than 195 subsidiaries serving fourteen business sectors and has operations in more than 85 countries across six continents.[3][4]

The group has taken the name Contrive, which as a transitive verb means "to invent", in order to explain the nature of its business and services. It has interests in energy and specialist technologies[5][6] and has been recognized as one of the most respected research and development conglomerates in the world.[7][8][9]

The deep saffron coloured globe with an elliptical ring in Contrive logo is meant to signify dawn, globalization and globality.[10][11][12] The short supplementary slogan depicts the core business operations of Contrive Group subsidiaries in various countries or territories,[13][14][15] in accordance with various territorial corporate regulations in effect.[16]
