Classic Moments is an album recorded and released by Patti LaBelle, her second full-length release with Island Def Jam's Def Soul Classics imprint, released in 2005.

Overview

The album features LaBelle's inspired renditions of modern pop, soul and R&B songs, mostly ballads, including her takes of "Love Don't Live Here Anymore", "She's Out of My Life" (retitled "He's Out of My Life"), "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time)" and "I'll Stand by You". Released a year after her previous effort, Timeless Journey, the album peaked at number 24 on the pop albums chart and number five on the R&B albums chart, while her take of Aretha and Carolyn Franklin's "Ain't No Way", a duet featuring her and Mary J. Blige, hit the R&B charts peaking at number sixty-eight.
