Chromodoris tennentana, common name Gaudy chromodorid,[1] is a species of colorful sea slug, a dorid nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Chromodorididae.[2]

Description

Species up to 4 cm long, with central region orange brown, mottled with lighter and darker patches and dark purple spots surrounded by white rings.[1] This central area is surrounded by an irregular cream band which contains bright yellow spots.[1] The margin is purple.[1]

Habitat

Habitat: diverse, among shallow coral reefs.[1]

  • Sri Lanka[1]

Possibly more widely distributed.[1]
