Chris Iorio was born in a small town in upstate Poughkeepsie, New York. He began playing guitar at the age of 8 and has since played with greats such as Robben Ford, Sammy Hagar and Jeff Carlisi from .38 Special. His influences are Randy Rhoads, Ted Nugent, Jeff Carlisi, Nikki Sixx, Slash, Kip Winger, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, and Robben Ford. His musical education ranges from performing in clubs and studio sessions as well as studying at the Academy for the Performing Arts where he flourished in a musical environment. He has a musical range from playing rock music to writing classical music and composing.

At 13, while attending Camp Jam, a rock n roll camp in 17 cities, Chris was featured on National TV performing on CNN Live with Jeff Carlisi, performed with the Atomic Punks (the greatest Van Halen tribute band in the country), featured on Fox 5 News, NBC Nightly News, music newspapers such as Vegas Rocks and the Las Vegas Sun, and quoted in People Magazine. In 2005, at 14, he was named the "Best Guitar Player" in Las Vegas when he won "Guitarmageddon" (Guitar Center's National Contest).

In the summer of 2006, he traveled to Atlanta as part of the Camp Jam Allstars and played and recorded on a song written by Jeff Carlisi, Liberty Devito, Billy Joel, and Derek St. Holmes Ted Nugent.

In July, 2008, Chris was featured on MTV's "Camp-d Out, I'm Going to Rock Camp at Camp Jam Chicago's first overnight program.

Chris Iorio was the former lead guitarist of the hard rock band Adelitas Way.

Chris and the band signed with Virgin Records in 2008. Their self-titled debut album was released on July 14, 2009. Their first single off the album which Chris co-wrote with Rick Dejesus and Dave Bassett, "Invincible", is the current theme song for WWE Superstars on WGN America, played during the season finale of CSI: Miami and is currently the new theme song for Fox Sports net 2010 College Football. "Invincible" is currently available for download on iTunes.

In November 2009 Chris Iorio left the band Adelitas Way.
