Mets-Dodgers Rivalry

The Mets- Dodgers rivalry, is a rivalry betwwen the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers, in the National League. The rivalry started when the Dodgers, moved from Brooklyn to Los Angeles. Four years later, the Mets were created to put the National League back in New York. The Dogers have won 5 World Series titles since moving to LA, while the Mets have only won two World Series titles. The Mets had Joe Torre as manager, but had little success, meanwhille, Joe is currently manging the Dodgers, and is having great succes with them. The postseason meetings are tied at one with the Dodgers winning the 1988 NLCS 4-3, and the Mets sweeping the Dodgers in the NLDS, in 2006.
