Agriculture Science and Technology as one of the Greatest Engineering Innovations of the 20th Century

Bold textAgriculture has been around since the beginning of time; since the beginning of time there have beenhundreds of thousands of engineering innovations brought forth by Agriculture.Bold text

Agriculture as an industry serves each and every person of the world in some way and that would not be possible without the innovations of agriculture. In 1902 agriculturists began the innovations when Henry Ford found a way to power tractors that did not require manual power... the internal combustion engine. From that point on the innovations continued to roll on.

In 1904 the first tractor with tracks instead of wheels was used; the innovation of trackson tractors in something that still has a large impact in not only agriculture, but also construction, etc. By 1921, agriculturists had developed a way to use airplanes to spray their crops. Rubber wheels were an innovation of agriculturists- this innovation is literally the driving force of modern day transporation.

Agriculture is so much more than plow, sows, and cows. Agriculture is the industry that makes the world go round. Without the innovations in engineering that have come from the agriculture industry the worl would be naked and hungrey.
